Meeting people from all walks of life, discovering different societies and ideologies, and exploring humanity in general are all an essential part of my restless quest. I am a curious individual in constant search of stories and new experiences and adventures. That is why film and documentary making, interviewing, researching and broadcasting are right up my alley.

Below are a few projects in which I participated:

Being Chinese in Quebec:A Road Movie

Being Chinese in Quebec:A Road Movie

A documentary produced in Montreal, Canada. Two protagonists take to the road in order to seek out their roots and investigate the meaning of and their roles as «des sino-quebecois». I took on several roles in the production and went on the road trip across Quebec with the team for the filming process. As Coordinator, Researcher and Translator for this film, I brought Being Chinese in Quebec to Hong Kong in 2014 and presented it at Hong Kong Baptist University and at the Diocesans' Boys School.

Brossard Chinatown

Brossard Chinatown

A webcast report produced by the CBC. With the increase of Chinese immigrants to Quebec, many have chosen to live in the South Shore of Montreal. As Fixer of this report, I helped the journalist to reach out to the Chinese community in the South Shore of Montreal to arrange interviews and so on. This webcast aims to break Chinese stereotypes, uncover the reality of Chinese of different generations and to bring forward various social issues that Chinese-Canadians encounter.

La Caravane des Dix Mots

La Caravane des Dix Mots

A short documentary about the ten words selected by the French Culture and Education Ministry. My friend and I worked on this international project with the objective of investigating how words can be interpreted differently in distinct cultures, especially words after being translated. This video shows the Francophone community in HK and HKers' opinions on different social issues in 2007. We were invited to the 2nd International Forum de la Francophonie in Quebec City in 2008.

Largo Winch

Largo Winch

A French feature film based on the Belgian comic book Largo Winch, shot in Hong Kong and Europe in 2008. I was on the production team, assisting with production, translation and interpretation.
